Thread: Winter

  1. #41
last Sunday we were out in the snow and spent an afternoon at Letchworth State Park. This small park with a few waterfalls was just an hour drive from Buffalo and the winter scenery was amazing. That day it wasn't too cold, only 22 F and we walked around for a while.

That's it JP, you are officially going to hell for that one. Seriously though, nice shot--I wish I was there!

Yea, it's very nice down here right now. Back in Connecticut the high's are in the single digits I have to head back up next week, I'm hoping it will warm up a little, then I'm back down here

    Robert that is sick!

Lake Blanche early October. I was hoping for fall colors but instead the Sundial was whitewashed.

A friend took this picture on our snow shoe trip last Sunday

    San Jacinto Peak, Ca

It was GORGEOUS up there! Actually this place is almost two miles shy of the peak. We would have needed ice ax & crampons to continue...this was my first time snow shoeing! I think I need to try back country skiing!
