"That Guy" pictures

Ever see a picture with somebody in the background that totally ruins that "intimate photo"? Or something going on that completely disrupts the purpose of the picture. lol

Here's a thread of some of those pics. You may have to look at them a bit to finally notice.

Now some of these may be a bit crude, but doesn't humor always trump profanity?

I just turned mine into a link instead of an image so it doesn't take up so much space.

These are all legit users. Someone found this thread, liked it and posted a link on a couple big sites. Now it is making the server hiccup. Beeeeeeech!

Interesting addon, may become useful with ads.

But yeah, they were all legit users. You may have noticed an average of around 100 users online yesterday, all day long. About 70 the day before that, and hovering around 40-50 today.

Somebody saw this thread, posted a link on their site, and it just spread to others. We even tracked it on a German site. I had to view the Page Source and search for uutah to see it was linked there.

I can't really take credit for any spamming campaign on this one.

We did learn a few things though - don't hotlink from Photobucket. They have a low threshold for traffic, and will show you that "bandwidth exceeded" image when it's been viewed too many times on high traffic threads. Hotlink from Flickr.

Now, if we can just get some large hits on some threads that are relevant to the main forum theme, we'll see a big spike in new members.
