And A.J. overtakes Carpey for first place with 6 feet, 10 inches!!
It's only "science" if it supports the narrative.

Ice enters the room.... patiently looks around.............. and then exits quietly through side door.
Immediately heads for kitchen to get a huge drink of water before attempting to enter this years pissing contest....

Eric, yep, I do work. Quite a bit. I do computer geek stuff for Oracle. I just make sure to take time to do the things I enjoy. Don't get enough vacation time (who does?) at just over three weeks. My list is long mostly because my main canyon partner, Jonas, and I both have an adventure racing background. We usually do pretty big days, so I get a lot of canyons in in way fewer trips than many.
For instance, the entire Blue John system was in one day. We went down Squeeze East, up Main East, back down Main East to the confluence, down Lower Main to the big drop, back up to the confluence, up West Blue, over to and down Little Blue, back to the confluence, and then up Main Blue; all in one day.
Your schedule will be awesome when school is done Eric. I better start drinking water now... ;)
Anyway, I'm sure Shane or others will beat me; but I really don't mind. I'm happy with the amount I've been able to get out. (However, if I had the chance to get out more, I'd take the opportunity!)
Take care,
A.J.

Canyonings This Year
I am an infrequent visitor to this forum, but would like to participate...
This year was a slow year for me, but here is what I visited this year:
1) Misery
2) Mystery
3) Keyhole
4) Pine Creek
5) Cheesebox (West Fork)
6) Black Hole
7) Birch Hollow (aborted after getting to the first rap--too much rain coming down)
Plans for next year
1) Birch Holow -Orderville (will be my third attempt after two previous aborts. I have had bad luck every time I plan a trip for this one)
2) Behunin
3) Larrys
4) MoonshineOnly Dead Fish Go With The Flow

Wow...some of you folks must really be into canyoneering (ha ha).
For me, get ready, here's my total for the year...
Big fat...zero.
My turtle head musta got scared and went inside...can you measure negative?
How many months have to pass with no canyons before my membership as a canyoneer is revoked?
Maybe I'll sneak one in before the end of the year...
