Speaking of deer, last night on my dog walk a deer ran about 2 feet in front of me! My dog sensed them, then got excited, and the deer scattered everywhere (she was on leash). It was on a dark, gravel side street I could hardly see where the deer were until one swooshed by me. I am glad I didn't get plowed over!
