Leaving a Legacy
Spent the weekend poking around in Moab, exploring a few places I've never been. Thought y'all might find this glance through a summit register comical...

Sooooooo.....did you quit your job AND break up with your gf?
Seems like you're always out. It's only "science" if it supports the narrative.

Nothing is more boring in a summit register then.... It was a wonderful day with wonderful friends in the wonderful wilderness with my wonderful dog Spot.... BIG YAWN.....
And someone please tell Chris and Jim to set their GPS to WGS84.
I receive a couple dozen email's every year telling me my GPS waypoints are off. And everytime it's because someone can't read and has there GPS or mapping program set to NAD27.
All route descriptions on the Climb Utah Website use the WGS84 datum. Always check your GPS and any mapping program you use to ensure that WGS84 is the datum used before entering a waypoint.

I sign trail registers with, "Most snakes I've ever seen."
"The eagle never lost so much time as when he consented to learn of the crow."
