    Pet Boarding??

Anyone know of a good boarding place for animals in the Salt Lake area? I have heard about "pet hotels" where your pet gets really good accommodations along with special care, etc. I am heading out of town for apprx. 3 weeks on the 22nd and normally I would have someone just come over to take care of my cat, but 3 weeks is a long time to ask someone.

    Thanks!

When I am away I use Alcor Cresta Veterinary Clinic for boarding, 7407 south 900 east 255-7159. They are always very freindly and seem to go out of their way to keep my hound happy.
It feels pretty safe leaving the pets with a veterinarian.

but what about the rest of us while you are gone?

I'll take plenty of photos and hopefully won't disgrace myself too badly. I need a break from my work and my life right now really, REALLY bad, so I'm heading down on the 22nd (first) to Austin for a few days and then on to my home town of New Orleans for a couple of weeks. My cousin is flying out next week and we're driving down and my sis will drive back to Salt Lake from N.O. with me. While I'm down there, I'll celebrate my birthday on the same day my sis and her hubbie celebrate their 25th anniversary. I will lift a hurricane or two in UUTAH'S honor while I am at Pat O'Brien's in the French Quarter.

This looks very promising and reasonable as well! I wanted to find something where my cat wouldn't be thrown into one room with barking dogs and such. (Not that I don't like dogs! I love them, but the way I work, a cat is best right now because they are practically self-maintained) My vet offers boarding, but for cats, it's nothing more than a small cage in a room with no windows.

    Thanks!

Ok.....I found a really cool place that takes cats only and it's like a kitty "hotel". I hope the hotels I find on the road are as nice.
