If we are talking about temporal belongings, I would wish I could buy them a house. Life would be so much more affordable if you didn't have to pay rent. You can practically work any job you really want, regardless of what it paid if your house is paid off.

Someone on my high school reunion Yahoo group once asked me what I would change if I could go back, and my answer was, "I'd smile more." With an easy smile comes so much more, so I'd give him that: the ability or willingness or desire to smile more.
