Not a fan of any FPS that doesnt have a mouse and keyboard. More of a Half Life guy myself. But i saw the short version of that on TV and that is probably the best commercial I've seen in a really really long time. Brilliant! Very good music, scenery, and theme. At first I thought it was just a camera going over some minatures, but looking closer i bet they just used CG without animation (except for the end).

Anyways, I just can't cant say enough good things about that commercial. Give those guys a raise.

It's actually a bunch of miniatures. All done by hand, modeled after real people.

Obviously they toss a lot of fiction in this "making of" but you get the idea.

I stand corrected, very nice. I see from the video they made each one in 3d, then made the model by hand after. total overkill, but I guess a superior product at the end speaks for itself.
