    Naomi Peak TR

Naomi Peak is pretty close to home, and it being the highest peak in Cache County, it was on my list of peaks to bag.

With a few friends from work, we headed out shortly after 10:00am.

The trail is fairly steep, but not too bad. I kept looking behind me to see the view that the trail offers nearly the entire way up. The geological formations are splendid, and if you look around a bit, you may find some marine fossils.

We made it to the top in 2 1/2 hours and took in the view along with a lunch. On the way down, we couldn't believe that it was that steep going up.

This peak is definatley one I would do again, but I say that every time I bag a peak!

Nice pics, brings back memories. I've done Naomi a couple times but it has been years, back when I was a teenager with my dad. One of the places that got me to fall in love with the outdoors.

Very nice! You look pretty happy at the summit, as you should be.
Nice, long vistas really add a bonus to the peak bagging. WOW!
