I thought this was going to show a picture of a kidney stone.

Nice shot, JP. (It does look a lot like a kidney stone I once had...just smaller.)

The first Whitetail I saw was while I lived in MN.

I thought, at first it was a dog. Then I saw the antlers... No, this isn't some Dr. Suess moment... Its a deer

We get them in the 200+lb range here. Bigger as you head north through New England. The funny part is having a buck walk right through yards with dogs and people all around. The neighbors little yappers were non-stop when they saw the buck out the front door. It really didn't seem to bother this buck, I'm sure he's a young one. My dog just sat there behind me and and quietly made some noises like he wanted to go play with it

This shot was the first I took, I saw him walk past my kitchen window (which faces my neighbor's house you can see in the pic) and I turned and grabbed the camera off the kitchen table. I opened the front door and couldn't figure out why he hadn't come from the side of the house yet. He then broke the side of the house, I was in the process of standing up, he then went into a trot, I took this pic and as soon as I squatted back down, he began to walk again. This just shows you how the deer here can care less about people and pets. They're used to our scent.

Okay...I guess the land east of the Rockies can support some life.
