    Thanks!

I just got back from Colorado - but didn't have the chance to cross the border.

I can't wait to come back. A buddy and I are hoping to hike in the Swell in November. I definitely wish I could see Utah more, and especially more with my wife!

Hey, Carpey, you'll think this is funny. I was surfing some of your journal page and came across this image...

...which is strikingly similar to one I shot at Big Bend last spring...

Great minds think alike, I guess? Yours says it was at sunrise, and mine was near sunset.

Inadequacy issues galore, with the Barron and Biggs pics circulating, but I'll throw a couple into the ring. First up, Canyonlands, Maze district, taken from the Flint Trail:

Yup, it's a pretty special place! I didn't get any good sunrise/sunset shots, but here's one more Maze shot:

One day I'll have to put up a trip report on that trip...

Unfortunately, the only time I've been there is at night. I'll not clutter up the thread with another pic, but here is a link... (Flashlight shining on the boy.) One day, I'll do the daytime trip.

I made this panorama from the Island in the Sky District. This was early October and the day was very clear.
