Mosquito repellent lantern keeps bugs off
http://deseretnews.com/dn/view/0,1249,695195609,00.html
...ThermaCell's Mini Mosquito Repellent Lantern, which promises to provide a 15-foot flying critter-free zone around you.
The lantern is light, quite attractive and easy to use. You stick a repellent-coated mat in, screw on a butane cartridge and push a button, after making sure first that you've placed it on a flat surface. There's no open flame.

Hey - I bought one of these and used it up at Spirit Lake the last few days...worked fairly well but better closer than 15' away...more like 5 feet but then I attract the damn biters like a magnet.
