    You are a great photographer! It's nice to see you get out with that camera without ski's on too.

    ah, I like Canon cameras. The 30D or 350D would be one of my favourites for the future, actually I still use a compact one.

    Found this guy in the back yard (Pennsylvania). He is known as a Argiope aurantia - Yellow Garden Spider. I know its not the best picture but I just took this about an hour ago using macro mode from an inch away, I thought he was going to bite me. I used my 6 year old Sony 2mp beater camera. So with that in mind I was pleased with the result

    Juvenile Red-Tail Hawk

    He was looking for lunch near Lewis Peak and his tail will turn red when he grows up. This is what a 4x, image stabilized, pocket camera can do. (Canon SD850 IS Digital Elph) Not too bad but better lens' make better pictures.
