TR: Fantasy Canyon

I finally got the opportunity to see Fantasy Canyon (near Vernal) this weekend after some hiking in the Uintas. I rushed to get there from near Marsh Peak, and I just barely made it 30 minutes before sunset. The timing couldn't have been more perfect! More pictures here. Great shots of a wild place. I want to go there, but never seem to get near it anymore. How many times can I convince my wife to go to Vernal?

yes, it's a wonderful place with lots of photographic opportunities, even now that the most outstanding formation (called Tea Pot) has been destroyed (by bad weather? "bad" humans? )...we've been there a couple of times, this is our picture of the Tea Pot, mmmhhhhh it's too much in a Fatali-esque style but here we go!:

I just finished a short film I shot at Fantasy Canyon in August. Wonderful place! Unreal formations.
