another loop out of crystal lake th. went towards island lake this time, which evidently has bad fishing, or did today. was talking to a guy comng down and he said he and 4 other parties got squat. another real nice hike though. lots of people at long lake just over a mile from teh th. can't blame them, a good destination. and perfect weather again ! mostly cloudy and off and on drizzle. could have used a little more sun i guess...

Island lake is a favorite of mine. Used to go there with my father when I was younger. Never seen any good fishing there though. Long Lake is usually much better...
