    I (heart) Monsoon Season

    The photo ops are abundant this time of year. Here's a few from my backyard, looking east into Colorado. Looks like Telluride is getting slammed right now.

    Ya they're digital. I'm shooting a Canon 20D.

    Those are rad.

    I haven't seen many storms yet with bolts this season... Hope we get some this weekend.

    BTW, I shot these with ISO 800, on a tripod, with a 6 - 8 sec exposure. Ap priority.


    They were edited with a crappy strip-down version of photoshop. Just tweaked the lighting and the contrast a little bit.

    What aperture were you at? Your noise levels would go down a bit if you tried shooting at ISO 100 or 200, then making longer exposures.

    Aperture = 11

    I actually shot it on ISO 800 by accident. I didn't check the ISO until I was editing the photos.
