Olympus has been my choice for the P/S cameras. They're pretty durable and I have no problems using them. It's with me all of the time, it's kind of hard to have my Sigma with me all of the time It's just about time for me to upgrade from my Olympus SP-350 to another one. I haven't decided on which one yet.
One thing about that 770 I don't like and others like it (Canon, Pentax, Kodak, etc.), it doesn't have a view finder. I know most, if not all, P/S users never use the viewfinder, but if that screen for some reason or another fails, your all done Even very bright sunlight sometimes washes out that screen and a viewfinder would be just what the picture ordered
