Don't talk unless you can improve the silence.
The trout do not rise in the cemetery, so you better do your fishing while you are still alive. SGH

That is one ugly fish, looks like fun out on the lake!
Two wheels are better than four, keep the rubber side down.

I've always heard there's a part on the catfish that is very sharp. Is it right behind the gills?

the fins have a sharp pointy bone in them. I have been stabbed by them and it hurts. They can lock their fins in so they stick straight out. Its worth the danger since they are such good eating.
What bait did you use. When fishing on the shore with my family we use a piece of shrimp and worm, has worked really well for us.The man thong is wrong.

I thought Utah lake only had channel cats. I caught several of those this year in the Bountiful pond. I have heard of Blues being primarily in the midwest.

Now that's a FUGLY catfish. Good size, though. Yeah, they're channel cats in Utah Lake. They often get called blues, but they're either channels or bullheads.

I thought all fish from Utah Lake had two heads, or three eyes and stuff like that. You wouldn't catch me eating anything that was able to live in that lake.
Nice catch though. Cat's can grow up to be BIG!
