Snowbird aerial tram to Twin Peaks?

Is this possible? Take the Snowbird aerial tram to Hidden Peak, and then hike the rest of the way to West Twin of the American Fork Twin Peaks?

    Thanks in advance.

I would guess that you could modify this route to start from the top of the tram, instead of Gad Valley parking lot:

I've never done this route before though, so I'm not sure what the exposure is like on the knife edge on the ridge above the tram.

You could certainly do it via the tram. I would mention that the ridge from Hidden Peak to the East Twin was pretty intimidating to me. My co-hiker did it but said that one area even he found scary. If that ridge doesn't bother you the tram would cut out a lot of climbing. On our first try we climbed to the top of the tram so the tram would certainly be a nice start. For me the White Pine Ridge Route was easier.

I did the exact same thing you are thinking of doing. I felt quite lazy and got a free ride up the tram. The ridge is not bad at all if you are comfortable with scrambling. I didn't feel that the exposure was all that bad at all. Overall it is really fun to do the ridge and I would recommend without any doubts about the difficulty.

I've done it before. It was a nice way to get up to AF Twin quick and easy.
