    Bearclaw Poppy Trail

I'll be riding the Bearclaw Poppy Trail in St. George at around 8 in the morning Monday (the 23rd) if anyone wants to come along.

I'm not the fastest rider in the world, but I like to have fun.

Good luck it is going to be HOT HOT HOT. I.E. Don't die of dehydration.

As my good friends at Camelbak say hydrate or die!
So, Kid, you think you got what it takes to be a Punch King?

No worries. My MULE holds 3 liters of water. I'm originally from Southern Utah, so I don't mind the hot weather, or drinking more than a half-gallon of water before noon.

My father-in-law thinks I'm crazy, he's usually back from any riding he does before I wake up, and 8 is earlier than I would normally go, but I'm making a small concession because my wife doesn't want me riding in the _HOT_ part of the day.

Jealous. We're up north, but there's a few southern boys on here.

Keep posting invites, they'll eventually see and join up.

That's a great little trail, it's my most video'd trail.

I actually live in Provo, my wife and I are spending the weekend in St. George for our anniversary and I told her I _have_ to ride that trail if I'm down there.

Just an update, I'll probably be starting from the Bloomington end and riding as an out-and-back if anyone sees this and wants to come along.

    Cheers.

I rode it this morning and it wasn't too bad. My in-laws' house is just off Tonaquint drive (the rode you ride back into Green Valley on if you don't have a shuttle), so it was 11.22 miles to get over to the Green Valley side, ride the trail, and get back. I left at like 7:30 and was back by 9:15 and it wasn't yet unbearably hot, probably like 85 or so when I got back. So I'm thinking if we (if anyone comes along) hit the Bloomington end by 8 it shouldn't be too hot.

Just a little update. I don't know of anyone else planning on coming and my wife doesn't like it when I ride alone so this trip is being aborted. The good news is that I did get to ride it yesterday (Sat.) and I had a blast.

    Cheers.
