Sooo...would you call this "Rubbish?" My grandma went to go see these and she couldn't stop raving about them. I don't think she considered them "RUBBISH."

Agreed - these would/should/could never fall under the description of "rubbish", and anyone who considers these sculptural masterpieces to be "vulgar" or "profane" or "pornographic" needs some serious deprogramming from whatever fundamentalist brainwashing they received to have that mindset.

But, while I don't personally find DC's cartoon offensive, the profanity in it would offend many here, which I understand. I was surprised to see it posted here; it really does belong in the Rubbish Bin.

It's not that bogley members are necessarily offended by nudity or profanity, (our Rubbish Bin pictures thread has almost 41k views and that's from members only ) our goal is to keep bogley "work safe". We want bogley to be comfortably viewed in any place of work. Those who venture into the Rubbish Bin know that they do so at their own risk, or they are not currently in a work environment that would frown on that.

It has nothing to do with Religion, Morals, Political preference, not appreciating the beauty of the human body..... Just keeping it work safe, unless we are at an office that encourages nude Fridays after 3:00 pm.

It's also a good time to note that I made that first post with the "rules" and I've probably broken them from time to time, I apologize for that.

I'll go ahead and move these posts to the Rubbish Bin, because none of us should be surprised that rockgremlin's grandma is a huge perv anyways.

Ack sorry! I just assumed I was in the rubbish bin thread where I have posted tons of pics. I mean, there were cartoon boobies in here when I arrived, that should offend anyone.

^^^It's crazy what they post up on the internets these days. I was doing a search for a childhood friend of mine (Josh K.), and he showed up with a complete police mugshot with a listing of all offenses he was arrested for and all the bloody details. What a bunch of crap. I dont think that stuff should be splashed around to the general public - it's a throwback to Medieval times where the offender was put in the stocks in the town square for all to watch and/or throw rotten vegetables at them.

My opinion is just that it is not funny. Maybe it should be in the Not-Particularly-Funny-Picture Thread.

For me, pictures of ordinary people who "look funny" is just kinda mean. Seems like there has been a lot of mean stuff in the 'funny pictures' thread of late, so I am glad Scott finally spoke up.
