I'd step up, but I have no idea how fantasy football even works. Is there like a noobie course I can see what the hell I'm getting myself into?

Also, I kinda like the idea of kicking Christian's ass, and taking his money.

As for noobie..... once you get your team spend an hour playing with the controls... and then feel free to start asking questions. Its really pretty easy to play. The Yahoo FAQ answers most your question... we'll answer any others.

First thing you will want to do is visit draft central and set your draft line up. Yahoo will do this for you if you don't and I think Yahoo does a pretty nice job. If you miss the live draft Yahoo picks your players from the list by the order you have them. As a noob I would suggest you just take the Yahoo list and maybe do a few minor adjustments with it....

I'm almost thinking I will let Yahoo pick my entire team just to see how it compares to the so called experts

Once the season is under way you just have to set your starting line up each week. As a noob watch out for those offering trades the first few week. Also, learn about waviers.... thats the best place to find new/better players for your team.

A lot of this is luck, just like real football. You have to hope your team stays injury free to go deep in the playoffs.

Fantasy Football is pathetically easy. After the first game of the season, you'll know almost everything you need to know to successfully run a team. Two years ago, I started playing FF with a healthy dislike for the NFL, and no previous knowledge of how to play, and I've busted into the FF championships every year.

I really hope you join up. We could use someone else with a talent for talking smack.

You're used to batting for both teams anyways. I'll pony up another $50 bucks for another team, just means I can take first and second. I've got a friend who will probably join since we're recuiting non UUtah people now.

Live On-Line draft is set for Tue Sep 4 7:00pm MDT.

So we need everything finalized no later then the 3rd of Sept.

You guys should all check out the Yahoo draft and make sure you can get on. They have a test button somewhere I found yesterday. Push the button and your computer checks to make sure you can draft on-line.
