    Red Box rentals

So I rented a dvd for my kid from RedBox, got home, my son is all excited, plop it in and nothing. Oh boy, kid is yelling, I am pissed, pull out the dvd from the player and it's like a nuclear war went off on it. Scratched to hell! I give it a good rubbing, plop it back in and nothing. Luckily I have a couple of DVD players, so thank the DVD gods, the downstairs DVD player worked. That got me thinking, what do I do if the RedBox dvd is bad and non-playable, who do I complain to? So I went to their site and read through the FAQ section.

I found it to be very helpful and humorous! I think they earned my confidence and I will return back to the Red Box for another rental.

    Now that's a good FAQ!

In case anyone is interested in saving a buck...

We rent from redbox only 2 or 3 times a month, tops, but we've never paid for a rental...just make sure you get it back the next day, the promo code only gives you one days credit.

How do you use those codes?

    Thanks for sharing man!

I've had to call them before and they were really nice to work with.
I wish my lawn was EMO so it would cut itself.

Once you've selected the movie and chosen to checkout or whatever it is it adds another touch button on the screen to enter a promo code, hit that and a keyboard shows up on the screen for you to enter in your code. Put it in, sometimes the codes on those sites don't work so I always go armed with several of them just in case.

When you find one that works it will only work once per credit card, so you can reuse it with another card next time.

No problem, once I've checked out my movie and know the code is working I tell everyone in line.
