    Pfeifferhorn

We're going to hike Pfeifferhorn this weekend... first time. Anything I need to know? Is the "Knife's Edge" as scary as it looks??????

The knife edge ridge isn't scary at all. Make time to be at the lake, it is way pretty and there are some nice areas to sit and just relax.

We're gonna camp at the lake then go up to the summit the next day.
    Thanks!
I did the "Knife's Edge" on Mt. Katahdin in Maine a long while ago, it was very scary at times. I guess I'm leary of anything like that now. :-)

When the knife edge gets scary I have been able to climb down and walk below the rocks to the base of the summit cone and avoid the knife edge. My friend just hops across it but I prefer to be m ore cautious.
