Restaurant's Lawsuit Goes to Court Monday

(KSL News) Owners of a burger joint in American Fork accused of ripping off In-N-Out Burger will be in court Monday.

Chadders Restaurant is being sued by In-N-Out Burger for trademark infringment. The suit alleges that Chadders has copied their menu, building style, color schemes, food and more.

In-N-Out became suspicious of Chadders after receiving e-mails from customers asking if the two restaurant were affiliated. The suit even mentions the story KSL aired on the similarities.

Both parties will be in federal court Monday. We'll be there too, and let you know what happens.

Ooooh, very nice! I'll have to head up and give them a try. I LOVE In-N-Out and would love to find something here comparable.

I've found it pretty close to the same as In-n-Out. Just hope they're still around after this lawsuit.

What really sucks is if IN-N-OUT wins the people of Utah loose big time.

All we want is a good fast food place close to quality of IN-N-OUT.....

Fries are about the same.

Went there for lunch and it looks like they're already making some small changes to distinguish themselves from In-N-Out, like a different look for their menu.

I've been in Utah for 8 years and I've never heard or been to either!

Chadder's just opened this year. In-N-Out for some reason hasn't come to Utah, but is really big in CA.

I heard somewhere that In-n-out are expanding to St George. Can't remember where I head it or when it was supposed to happen. Maybe I'm just spreading rumors.

Yeah I've been hearing that for years, but it never happens.
I also heard they're anti-mormon, since it's run by born-agains.
