Skill night?
Is there any interest in an OutdoorZen/UUTAH skills night somewhere around Salt Lake one weekday evening?
I would be happy to spend an evening hands on practicing some canyon skills. (Rappelling, anchors, knots, ascending, etc...) If people would be interested in learning and practicing skills, doing it in a controlled environment one evening would be a great opportunity. These used be organized once in awhile, but none have been organized recently.
Ice, you up for helping out? Any other experienced people willing do give up a weekday evening to help beginners?
Anybody interested? Suggestions?Check out www.ajroadtrips.com

I'd be interested, too. I'd be willing in kick in a little $$ if we need group supplies or anything.

Some of us have been going up to Dogwood in BCC once a week to practice skills. We've been doing this on Tuesday and/or Thursday evenings after 6PM (sorry Ice). We'd be happy to open this up to beginners and seasoned pros. This has become a regular thing for us and could be good for those who have scheduling issues. Dogwood is a decent place to run the gamut of scenarios. The only downsides to it are parking and the fact it's a popular climbing route so it can become pretty congested at times.
