    Draper Shoreline TR

I'll be brief for now in the description, as I'm dubbing video and I'm pretty busy.

I just wanted to start a thread about tonight's ride. 8 of us showed, and overall had a good time. There were a few bumps and bruises, but that's the norm.

I've got 2-1/2 hours of helmetcam footage that I've got to cut down to @ 5 or 6 minutes.

We did the shuttle thing, and still rode 7.5 miles.

EDIT: The video is now done.

Hey Sombeech, I noticed that you go bareback (in regards to gloves on your hands) when you ride. Do you ever wear gloves, or do you love the feeling of those yummy calluses on your hands, as well as the texture and feel of the rock and gravel rubbing down your palms as you take a spill?

I used to wear gloves all of the time. Then one day I forgot them, and realized I didn't need them. I still carry them around in my pack, just in case.

I'm totally disappointed in the guys that were present. I mean, out of all of them I'm sure there was at least 3 Eagle Scouts and you left it to the other woman of the group to clean up the wound?

Chickens! Is the sight of someone elses blood too much for yew? BAAAAAAAAA! Where is chivalry these days?

She ended up getting a few stitches the morning after to help close it up. Shes a tough one though, said she would come again.

Sweet video, I think that I got about 3" of air off the lame wood ramp, oh well atleast I was able to splash in the creeks and roll some rocks out of the way.

I love the video sombeech! I thought you were going to cut that part about me stealing from my place of employment... Haha. I haven't been fired yet so I think I'm safe. Thanks for letting us ride with you guys. It was a good learning experience :)

Oops, I should have muted it. But seriously, if you want me to, I will.
