    Parunuweap

Bo and I hiked from Checkerboard Mesa to Labyrinth Falls to the warm springs at the end of Fat Man's today. That is without a doubt my favorite all time hike! I love the East Fork of the Virgin River!

I am hoping our photos show the beauty of that place!

That looks just awesome,Tanya. Your pictures are teriific as usual. I'll look forward to your TR and then gather the courage to attempt it.

I was up on the East side twice on Saturday, couldn't believe the amount of
    Bighorn Sheep.

Canyoneers really really really complain about this one! They call it the awful slog out of Parunuweap! You have to be a hiker to love it! It's great for hikers though since this route avoids Fat Man's Misery. I think it's far more spectacular than the famous Narrows, and best of all --- since it's not an easy hike, you usually have the place to yourself!

Here is the trail report, but Bo is going to update it a bit.

Thanks! It's the best hike anywhere! There is nothing like having a magnificent canyon like this to yourself! I am looking forward to hiking the East Fork from Mt. Carmel Jct. to Checkerboard Mesa this fall.

As I was driving home Win..the traffic jams near Keyhole were incredible! The Bighorns were on the road near Keyhole and everyone was stopped in the middle of the road to take photos! I got some X-rated photos of Bighorns this last winter at the same location, but thought it inappropriate to post them unless there may be some interest?

I posted one of yours somewhere in the group... way back then. It was a bit blurry, but it just happened to fit the subject at the time.
