Online Calendar Sharing options?

I would like to learn some options for using an online sign up calendar for volunteers.

I would like to have some sort of online option where people can fill in their name/times for a date (instead of emailing me their times/dates) and have it visible to anyone who can view the calendar so others know where availability is and where dates are taken.

We are looking at Google Caledar but I am thinking you need to create a Google Email account (seems like a pain). Otherwise it's me updating a calendar in Word and posting each new version online, which is quite tedious on my end since I have to do this stuff at work.

Any cool programs or options out there? One that is interactive for all users?

This forum has a cool one. . .although NO ONE USES IT!!! http://uutah.com/forum/cal_lite.php

I have used this one, but it is not much diff than google and you have to add all of the events http://planzo.com/

If I was you, I would use google and have them get an account if they don't have one. Seriously though, who doesn't have a google account?
