SW Utah - Little Creek Mountain
After a day of canyoneering in the park, a buddy and I went and tried out Little Creek Mountain. Little Creek Mountain is the next mesa south of the Gooseberry Mesa. When we got to the trailhead, there were only two other vehicles. Since this was a first for both of us, we didn't know where to go but just followed the designated trail that is lightly marked by cairns.
The trail we followed took us south to the edge of the mesa, then north/northwest along the edge where it ended up going back south again.
The terrain of this mesa is awesome! Plenty of technical sections, with nice climbs and rollers. The single track in the tree's is nice and fast. We did the whole perimeter and loop in under 2 hours, so this is one you could easily pair with Gooseberry or other nearby trails.
Here are a couple of pics:

SO, when's the next big St. George trip?? This is a good fit into the 'itinerary' we've done in the past...

Cool. This is still on my to do list. We'll have to get down south again this year.
Thanks for the pics. I added this to the trip report index.
