My new membership
I recently joined this forum and have been pleased with the general content. When I joined I received an email asking my parents to sign a form and FAX it back to the webmaster. I thought, wow, this site is really diligent. Then I took a quick look at the Memberlist.... shit!... I'm no prude but that list is full of XXX-websites that would put anyone who looked at in jail for kiddy porn violation. Who in the hell is guarding the doors here?

The memberlist is full of XXX sites? Are you under 18? I never received a fax for my parents to fill out - but then again - I'm 39 and the last time my parents signed anything was when I was 17 and was off to basic training

Welcome to the site. It is a great one, but yes it does suck that all the Spamers join up, but they NEVER post so I guess it don't really matter.

You'd be surprised at the amount of spammers we've blocked. Just take one more look at that memberlist, and see how many have not posted here.
Welcome to the forum by the way, I think you and your parents will approve of this site over time.

I'm still waiting to hear why a 12 year old has grammar competency of English 2010.

I haven't been 12 for a very long time.....
When I submitted my application to join this Forum, the site manager sent me an email asking for my parents signatures to be FAXed back. I responded that my parents have both been dead for quite a while and could I please join in spite of this. That's what made me think that there was a tremendous amount of oversight here.
I received another email saying that my membership was now active. I logged on and was checking out the site when I entered the Memberlist area and realized that any f*cking dirt bag could join in spite of the caution I experienced. I was just struck by the irony.
