Goosenecks Illusion (revisited)
okay, when i first came onto this forum i posted this illusion i discovered by surprise one night with a couple of friends. although i presented the illusion with an image i found on the internet i finally got around to photographing the book in which we found the illusion ... Stokes' Geology of Utah.
this image works a lot better and is worth the peek if you've alread seen it. on the following link i describe how we stumbled upon the illusion and show photos of the book.
enjoy

I can't get the inverted image to appear like a canyon, it always looks like a mesa to me.
