    Behunin and Spry

I have permits for these Zion Canyons on 4-6 May. I still have a few slots available if anyone else wants to join us. Let me know here or an e-mail will do.

Shane wants to do Behunin with you.
It's my job to call the BS around here. Get over it.

Are these canyons technical? Overnighter? Do you take fairly new people with you? (Done a few trips with Shane and rock)

I hear Spry is technically pretty easy. And Behunin is too, but has some pretty big rappels.
It's only "science" if it supports the narrative.

Yes technical, Behunin has a few big drops, last rap 165/free, I figure no longer than 8 hrs. to complete. Spry is a very nice canyon, lot's of raps, longest about 165. Should be done in the 6 hrs. range. Your welcome to come along, let me know.

I love Spry...too bad one of my sons college graduation is happening. I wonder what the repercussions will be if I go climbing instead?

For the most part you are right. Not much downclimbing, if any in Spry. Behunin is a blur to me, LOL That's why my buddy from St. George will lead this one, just remember big raps, and my foot getting stuck in a wedge.

Still have a couple of spots available for Spry, if anyone is interested.

Repercussions from your spouse, I imagine? If your son is anything like I was, he does not want to walk, trust me. He'd rather go do Spry with you.
