I am ready to start coming with you guys, I would have been there tuesday but I am nursing a sore back and should be good to go next tuesday. I will follow the posts.
Two wheels are better than four, keep the rubber side down.

I'm sure the gate will be closed in millcreek so there is a little trudge up the road but the trail is usually dry this time of year. It should be good.

I've ridden it from the pipeline entrance to the elbow. It's in prime condition. is that all you were thinking of riding?

We will meet at the parking area below rattlesnake gulch at 5:45pm. From there we can car-pool up to the gate, ride pavement up to elbow-fork and get on the trail, ride out to the overlook, back to rattlesnake and down to the cars where we can catch a ride back to the gate. Bring some cash as it is fee area ($2.25 per car last year). If anyone would like me to pick them up at the park-n-ride, call my cell 560-1418.
Mill Creek Canyon Park and Ride lot: Between 3800 S. and 3900 S. on Wasatch Blvd. (3555 E.), between the I-215 freeway and Wasatch Blvd along 3900 S. It is on the northwest corner of the intersection. You can ONLY enter it from the west-bound lanes of 3900 South.

7 of us rode the pipeline last night and out rattlesnake gulch. Unfortunately one of fourtycal's work compadres took a bad tumble. After a half dozen fire and rescue vehicle's, they brought him out on a stretcher. He has a broken elbow and a gash on his head. I guess the gash wasn't as bad as it originally sounded. Fourty has a couple pictures and he'll have to give more of the story. The guy was a rookie and it sucks to have this happen.
He had a cell phone on his belt during the ride. He even joked early on that he brought it to call for help when he got in trouble. Bloody hell...

He couldn't get up or move very much without pain. He had a couple of bikers keeping him relaxed. Search and rescue carted him down the trail where an ambulance hauled him to the hospital. His right arm is broken just above the wrist and will require a pin, his elbow was severely dislocated and has a few bone fragments floating around and he has several small fractures near his shoulder.
The good news is his bike is OK!
It was dark and my camera sucks but here are a couple

This was a great start to the Tuesday rides.
Where are you going next week? I may have to go to a t-ball game, still working on an exit plan for that one.

So how is Shawn doing then? Is he able to laugh about it? What the hell happened exactly?
