We just wanted to connect to the people. We're people people.

The clincher was when they told us we could get a full service oil change while we played.

I worked an REO concert at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, in 1991. The Fabulous Thunderbirds opened for them. It was sponsored by Marlboro, and in the media tent was all the free merchandise you would ever want, including free cigarettes.

I don't smoke, nor do I support the tobacco industry. If I had known ahead of time that it was a big cig commercial, I would have turned down the job when the agency hired me.

What's this got to do with REO? I have no idea.

Please don't insult Angus and the boys with that. AC/DC still sells out the largest stadiums all over the world when they tour.

Yes - they are responsible for some rather sappy 80s stuff, but the very best REO Speedwagon song is still a great one (imo)

I love Redrocks! I wish the Tuacahn theater outside of St. George would hold some concerts instead of just doing plays during the summer months. That place would be an awesome venue.
