I worked an REO concert at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, in 1991. The Fabulous Thunderbirds opened for them. It was sponsored by Marlboro, and in the media tent was all the free merchandise you would ever want, including free cigarettes.
I don't smoke, nor do I support the tobacco industry. If I had known ahead of time that it was a big cig commercial, I would have turned down the job when the agency hired me.
What's this got to do with REO? I have no idea.

they just arent enough of a draw to get me to go to Wal Mart...now, if they were touring with ACDC in the WalMart parking lot between the semi trailers..WELL then...Id consider it

Yes - they are responsible for some rather sappy 80s stuff, but the very best REO Speedwagon song is still a great one (imo)
