    Mormon Pioneer TR

Okay, this is more of a trail conditions thread, but I've some pictures too, and it was a good ride. In case anyone was wondering about the condition of this trail, this is what it's like:

I started at Little Dell, trail is just about perfect up to the outhouse. A little rutted between the outhouse and Affleck Park, but still nice and dry. Three down trees just above Affleck Park give you a nice break from the climb. When I started, I didn't think I'd even make it this far, but the trail is absolutely great right up until the last half mile. At the switchbacks is where the drifts begin. Pretty much hiking from that point, but its not too far from the pass anyhoo.

All in all a good ride. I didn't plan on going all the way to Big Mountain Pass, so I was kind of wishing I'd brought some food. At least I didn't run out of water.

    Here's teh pics:

...and then it turned to crap.

OK, sorry. I couldn't resist a poop joke.

Thanks for the TR. I've never done this trail. I'll throw it in the index.

This is a sweet trail. I can't wait until it's all open.
It's my job to call the BS around here. Get over it.

I was up AF canyon today, we drove up to Tibble Fork reservoir. I was really surprised how dry it is up there. Not much snow around at all. But I am sure we would find it in the shade along the trails. I really want to hit the Tibble Fork trail a bunch of times this year on our Tuesday rides. It is really a great trail. Thanks for the pictures and sorry to hear about the hiking...never fun.

    You got fans...

Seriously though...this shot is mans finest hour. Carrying the mighty beast up the hill, in the heat of battle.

Am I imagining things, or do you have a suspension fork on that bike?
