Anyone else catch the first 5 episodes of this series? I DVR'ed them all and absolutely love them. Seems like they spent tons of time waiting for the perfect shot. Their time lapses are way cool. Their first episode showed some birds from New Guinea that I never knew existed.

I missed it, but I noticed they are airing some episodes tonight on the science channel. I caught a few minutes of the Ice World episode. Simply put, it was AMAZING. Word is this is some of the most remarkable HD footage EVER made in the wild. I am looking forward to seeing the full episodes.

D'oh! I watched the first three last week, and had planned on watching the next two last night, but I was down in the Swell all day long and had forgotten about it by the time I got home around 9:15pm. :( Doesn't look like they're airing them again (at least not on any channels that I get) before next week's shows. I'll have to fire up my favorite torrent client and get them off the 'net.

The first three shows were absolutely fantastic, and I was really looking forward to the "Desert" episode last night.

Utah even made a presence in the desert episode last night. Somewhere between the Gobi and Death Valley.

My cable isn't fancy enough to get Discovery! Someone else on another forum said it was very cool though.
