Thank you.. Approx 50% of those pics are film if not more, they don't have the resolution of digital but on paper probably slide film is still the best... I should really clean that page up... I learned by the trial and error method using film, you have a much better teacher and advantage in your digital camera than I did... It would seem you have a love for photography/outdoors, which is a great combo... I would suggest shooting in the manual mode (watch the meter) and review the LCD for results, you can't lose... It's not uncommon for me to fill the memory card up (500 or so pics) and have maybe a dozen worth keeping... Of course this depends on the subject, a lanscape shot = no, fish/dog in action = yes... Do you shoot your camera often???

Did you guys' see Jaxx's picture that he made in the "Mona Lisa with MS Paint" thread?
This is how I feel about my pictures compared to these pictures."My heart shall cry out for Moab..." Isaiah 15:5

I would love to re-learn how to use a camera. I really enjoyed taking black and whites and doing the devoloping myself..... but that was a lifetime ago. Children were my favorite subjects and still are --now that I think of it.
I usually hike every weekend and do a photo album of photos of the hikes. I look at my first albums (they will have much smaller photos than the new albums) and really want to redo those.... and will as time allows..... but I want to redo the hikes and shoot new shots.

I am not very good with photo shop, but this is just the auto lighting effect. Some people on here are really good with that kind of stuff.
