"Man" Killed While Trying Stunts on Motorcycle

WEST JORDAN, Utah (AP) -- A man trying to do stunts on his motorcycle was killed this week.

The incident happened on Tuesday in West Jordan.

Police say 20-year-old Ty Griffiths was in the parking lot of an apartment complex when he tried to do a wheelie. However, officers say he instead lost control of his motorcycle, went flying through a window of one of the apartments and was thrown into the brick building.

Authorities say Griffiths later died from severe head trauma.

One time up in Alaska, I was talking about "Darwin Awards" with one of my guests on my tour from the South. They said that in the South the most common last words are "Hey! Look what I can do!"

I still get a chuckle out of that.
