    North Coyote Buttes

Twelve people wanted permits for today, so the drawing eliminated a nice couple who had tried once before. Felt bad for them, but happy we got our three permits. Leaving soon to drive to Wire Pass trailhead. My knee already hurts from yesterday, so this may be tough.

Glad you got that permit Stan!!!

Are you going to look for the Dino Tracks, Top Arch and Melody Arch?

Good for you, Stan. Looks like a great day to hike. I'm sitting here working and my wife's headed out to Zion to hike. Oh Well.

Thanks, guys. It was a good day, sunny all morning when we were taking pictures. Got overcast as we left.

Unfortunately, my old, arthritic knee just wouldn't allow us to go up top for the arches. would love to, but discretion wouldn't let me. Actually, I'm so out of shape, this was a tough hike for me. Lots of people passed me on the way back.

Plan a run to Page tomorrow for Lower Antelope, Horseshoe Bend, etc.
