Life on a Line
For all you tech geeks..... the cave rescue manual Life on a Line (2nd Edition) has been released.

The 2nd edition costs $14.95 for the PDF file.
Although it's specific to cave rescues, there are several topics that have a large overlap with canyoneering. The book includes detailed descriptions of the different types of ropes, knots, descenders, anchors, simple hauling, and equipment care.

I have a copy of the 1st edition, it was free
And worth every penny it cost me
I hear the second edition is a lot better, but I haven't dropped the coin yet. Figure I'll let one of the cavers test the waters first.
