    Canyoneering/Hiking/Backpacking Sites Covering Other States?

We are lucky here in Utah to have Uutah and Climb-Utah and Tanya's Zion site to provide lots of great beta, pics, and trail reports for this wonderful state. Are any of you away of similar sites that focus on other states?

Is there something like a Climb-Colorado? Or maybe a AArizona?

I'm especially interested in the intermountain west states but any will do.

Maybe Todd's Hiking Guide? I think it covers a lot of Arizona

I would be very interested in something like that about hiking, canyoneering, and adventure in New Mexico.

Sub-topic: anyone interested in meeting up and exploring the Bisti Wilderness?

Summitpost coveres the world, but is only for hiking, climbing, and canyoneering:

Todd's Desert Hiking Guide is the best site I've seen for Arizona:

Utah is a very special and unique place. There is no where else like it on earth. Please take care of it and keep the remaining wild areas in pristine condition. The world will be a better place if you do.

This site has beta on canyoneering in the Northwest.

Some very cool looking canyons up there.

Perhaps this thread should be moved to one of the Canyoneering, Hiking, or Backpacking Forums given that it contains good info pertaining to those areas.

    Beech?

    Acca?

    Canyoneering in the Pacific Northwest:

    http://www.canyoneeringnorthwest.com

Lots of beta on many canyons first descended (at least that we know of) in the last few years. Each summer more canyons are added.

I moved this to the Hiking section as kind of a catch all and more appropriate section.

Here is a bunch of good Kalifonia info sprinkled with some other goods stuff.

    Some good Ice Climbing Info

    Some good Ghost Town info

Your galleries are superb, Richard. Thanks for sharing. I want to visit Bisti on my way back east, but right now I don't know when that may be.

Dang.... I almost forgot, there is a great Nevada site similar to Climb-Utah.com.

    Hiking Las Vegas
    http://www.hikinglasvegas.com

It is a really good reference and the beta is certainly worth the coin if you are interested in Southern Nevada. The site caters mainly to hikers and has very little tech stuff.

My home away from home is www.arizonahikers.com; Todd's site is good although sometimes I disagree with some of his reviews ( Galiuros is one but that'll keep more people away from it); www.hikearizona.com for mostly Phoenix area trails.
Desertusa is pretty good general info for southern California. DeathValley.Net for aforementioned.
And I think it's Kaibab.org for grand canyon mainly discussion info.

Just posted about a 5 day Death Valley trip and like 3 photo albums on arizonahikers.

    This should work.

    Arizona Hikers
    http://www.arizonahikers.com

Proper web syntax must not be a requirement to join AZ hikers.
