Vegas cop accidentally shoots at suspect on the ground

A textbook example of why you keep your finger off the trigger until you're ready to shoot.

    She missed.

Does she actually shoot him or the ground next to him? Either way if I were her kids, I would never doubt her threats again (just in case).

She misses the suspect, but it couldn't have been by much.

I wish we could see a close-up of her partners face. Or her face. Or the suspects face. Underwear check for everybody is my guess.

I'd guess she sees more of her kids, in her new career.

Had I been her, the next thing I would have done with that gun would be to lay it on my Captain's desk.

No, I have not. But the question is mostly irrelevant, since I'm not a police officer who was supposedly trained how to shoot and when. Man, that round landed 18 inches from another police officer.

FWIW, despite what you might think of my liberal leanings, I respect the right of the people to keep and bear arms. In fact, not only do we have several firearms in my home, my wife has a concealed carry permit. She finished first in her permit class. There is a silhouette target at the end of the hall in our house from the day she tested, and all the holes are in the center. All of them.

Well if I ever thought about robbing Richard's house, I have now decided that I never will.

Guns or not, you do not want to get on Abby's bad side.

Oh, I was just asking. That's why you never put your finger on the trigger unless you're going to pull it I'll keep my comments to myself on that officer
Congrats to the wifey, I don't understand the entire political thing when it comes to guns. I'm sure they're quite a few Liberals and such out there that believe in protecting themselves through arms. I'm not saying that I'm 100% for it or against it. Certain areas of this issue raises flags for me and others don't. I'm not at all against the idea of people being able to defend themselves in violent crime situations. I wouldn't want any innocent person becoming a victim. Being victimized is never a good thing.

I don't think I've known a woman yet when I thought it would be a good idea to be on her bad side.

I know how to handle weapons, but I did not learn it in my weapons class to carry a concealed firearm. I hunted for years with my Dad. You do learn the correct way when you hunt with him. He is 6 foot 5 and all muscle.
