It kinda made up for it when I was watching the car on a camera try and drive away while still on fire.

I mostly work out of my house during the winter (and make money doing internet / computer junk). So here is my "work story":

I came downstairs to check on an ebay auction I had just finished. I know my house so well that I do not always turn the lights on, as I move about. Well as I moved around in the dark I mistakenly stepped through the end of my belt. The little metal part that go through the notch of the belt (which is not sharp) pierced my foot. The belt went nearly an inch inside the center of my foot. I raised my foot to see what was happening (not realizing what I had done at this point) and the belt was completely lodged in there.

I'm an EMT and I do not have insurance, so I just fixed it up myself, but it really hurt. As I look back on this, it would have been a better story if I had a picture of the belt protruding through my foot.

I did something like that a few years ago. I was moving a sofa and a fork was under there. The prongs went through my foot like the belt did your. Oh the pain. Ouch I feel for you!

As I'm learning, this post is worthless without pictures.
