    Lake Blanche

Headed up to Lake Blanche today. Left trailhead at around 2:30, back at car at 5:45. Was semi packed the entire trail. Great winter hike.

try some photos if they'll work, perhaps on a tripod or balanced on a ski pole or rock or something.

Right now the plan is to just hike, and the earliest we could go is sunday so it won't be a full moon but damn close. I took some pictures of fireworks in the valley on the 4th of July from Granduer peak that turned out well so I'll see what I can do.

I went up to Lake Blanche sunday night. Unfortunately none of the pictures show anything, but it was definitely an unforgettable experience, with a nearly full moon.
