How Did You Pick Your User Name?

I really don't understand some of the user names on this site, or even how to pronounce them (accadacca). Anyway I thought it would be fun to have a thread explaining user name and why they were chosen.

DiscGolfDiver: When I was signing up on Geocaching.com my normal user name was taken so I just made that up because I enjoy DiscGolf and Diving. At the time I didn't realize I would get so in to geocaching so I didn't know how much I would use that name.

DiscGolfDiver"s": My wife felt left out because we do so many of our activities together, so I added the "s" to include her. She has never made a post on this site.

Savanna is the name I had picked out for a daughter if I'd had one. (And yes, I know the city's name is spelled Savannah) The 3313 comes from my old business address back in New Orleans. 3 was always my lucky number.

    Hence: Savanna3313

I'd hate to hear what the State had to say about one of my client's last name. No lie, the man's last name was Dikshit.

Back in the day of regular nintendo you could only put in 3 letters for high score names, meant for your initials i assume. One day I randomly put in "jax" and started putting that for all my nintendo stuff. When X box came out I my brother in law was entering my name and decided that an extra "x" would make it cooler. So that is how I got Jaxx. Now my brother in laws all call me Jaxx. Boring, but true.

I never could convince them to let me have the license plate. The appeals board didn't see it my way.

Every time I go hiking, I am constantly looking down at the ground, in search of cool rocks/minerals/arrowheads/fossils. Also if I stumble across an abandoned mine shaft or cave while hiking, I always have to go investigate -- like a gremlin - always delving into holes in the ground.
It's only "science" if it supports the narrative.

damn ... that just doesn't seem right to me.

i assume the only reason is that it is Udink as if you are saying YOU DINK to the driver behind you? otherwise i don't understand why they wouldn't accept the argument that it's a completely different word. I mean if it were Rdink would they have still said no? or would they not let me put MASS on my license plate because ASS was in the word?

still cool that you got an article dedicated to it
