New canyon Beta from the Yahoo group.

I'm guessing most of you check the yahoo canyons group but I figured I would post this over here since I was part of this project. Sometime last spring I was bored and hiked down Maidenwater where I scouted a side canyon coming in that Ram has called the Blushing Bride and Jilted Fork. I made a video of the canyon and sent it to a few people and then Ram and his crew descended it a month or so ago. They posted a route description and some photos for all to enjoy. It's nothing special, but something new for those who have done everything around North Wash. When I scouted the canyon I followed the west rim and hiked back to the car from the junction with Maidenwater which would be a much shorter exit than the one described in the route description. Basic routefinding along the slickrock should get you up to the rim. Here is a link to the beta (I also pasted it to the end of this post)

    BLUSHING BRIDE

    DRIVE:
Turn South on HWY 276 and drive 10 miles to spot a car at the Trail
    Canyon gravel pullout(UTM NAD83 537997mE,4193475mN).Return North 1.5
miles to the Maidenwater Spring paved pullout on the west side of
the road( 537563mE,4195735mN)to begin the hike.

    HIKE:
Cross the road and hike East following the path of least resistance
to the head of the canyon at 539463mE,4195668mN.

    CANYON:
Climb down into the canyon on the left(LDC)and make your way down.No
obstacles of great difficulty are encountered. The canyon alternately
opens and closes with some potholes/downclimbs where you may want to
use a short rope for a handline.Soon you reach the Navajo/Kayenta
contact where springs will be found.A huge log is descended to a
shallow pool, followed by another pool that can be very deep. After
rains, expect some wading to chest deep and possibly a short swim.In
the lower half of the canyon is some moderately thick brush which
can often be avoided by walking the watercourse or bench walking
left or right as needed.Directly above the confluence with
Maidenwater Canyon a series of potholes can be descended directly or
    bypassed on the Right(LDC).

    EXIT:
When you reach the confluence with Maidenwater Canyon
(540643mE,4194236mN) turn Left(LDC)or East and make your way to
    Trachyte Creek(541376mE,4194202mN).Turn Right(LDC)or South on
Trachyte Creek and make your way to the confluence with Trail Canyon
(541688mE,4193667mN)where you will turn right(LDC)or West and slog
back up canyon to your car at the Trail Canyon trailhead.

    JILTED FORK
Half of the way down Blushing Bride(540278mE,4195037mN)you will come
to a brushy area with a small side canyon coming in on the left
(LDC).To descend the Jilted Fork, climb the slickrock on the upcanyon
side of the fork(200') on 4th to easy 5th class slab. When you reach
level ground ,make your way to the top of the steep, narrow slot. Many
will want a belay while downclimbing this challenging series of
    drops.
