Thread: Yahoo Mail Beta

    Yahoo Mail Beta

So, it's been out for a few months. Who made the switch?

I just did today, for one reason.... RSS feeds. Now, I went from 3 email programs down to 2.

I use Outlook for work, did use Mozilla Thunderbird just for the RSS reader, and Yahoo Mail (old version) for my web email.

I'm sure I'll have questions, like getting rid of all that crap hiding my folder list on the left.

And, turning off the preview pane. i hate that.

Can I make subfolders of the RSS folder?

I voted Google but I don't use any of them. I only use two email accounts. My work email and my uutah.com mail. I dump them both into Entourage. Werks fer me...

I just started using Gmail and it works damn good. it gets about 99% of my spam which is a lot. Today I had 249 spam messages and 12 legit.

I just forwarded all my accounts through Gmail and then retrieve the good email into Outlook through POP. Works like a charm.

    I'm pretty happy so far.

i have been switching back and forth between old yahoo and new since for almost a year now. when i cant stand something about the new i go back to the familiar old then switch again a few weeks later. when you switch back to old it asks for reason why and i tell them.

i have noticed a few things are changing that i didnt like. i miss the checkmark for delete most.

i LOVE the spell check though.

I wish the RSS feeds would tell me the number of unread links, like email.

I've probably got 40 RSS feeds, and I don't have time to scroll through them. In Mozilla Thunderbird, it would display new feeds like new emails.
