I had to roll my eyes over in my head when he decided to swim across the lake up in the Sierras instead of hiking around it to the road....WHAT THE HELL WAS HE THINKING!!! First rule of wilderness survival...KEEP DRY AT ALL COSTS. He (1) was already dehydrated(2)was tired & hungry(3)was in a higher elevation...cooler.(4)needlessly endangered himself just for show. ALthough his floating technique was spot on and the stick technique he used to kill the rabbit was on and the fire starting was correct, it's not an excuse for stupidity...just my personal take on the whole survival idea.

Yup, on saw this stunt on Leno. What an its really all about wow factor and ratings. Basic marketing...
