Elephant Butte
nov 11 moab trip cont-
The Elephant Butte was by far the high-point of the weekend. Having never done this route, i was eager to figure out. From the parking lot, it's an easy scramble up an ugly boulders drainage and into a sandy meadow. this is one of the few routes that I've done where one needs to rappel down to get to the top of the butte. it makes sense once you do it...lol The Sky started to gray up as we reached the top, we signed the registry book, and headed towards the rock penis. after a short rap, we were headed back to the car.
Hot showers and food at McStiffs was next on the agenda,
Camel Toe via Corona Arch for the morning

Elephant Butte is a fun one! Nice TR!
It's only "science" if it supports the narrative.
